Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. announced that this year the Sigma
Lambda LADYS Program will be the recipient of a $750 grant provided
by La Unidad Latina Foundation.
The grant is awarded to groups, organizations and projects to support

Latino community.
"We
are very excited to be receiving this grant. It will definitely assist
us in reaching our goals for the LADYS Program
We are grateful
for La Unidad Latina Foundation and can't thank the Brothers of La
Unidad Latina enough for their generosity. To be able to contribute
such an amount to our youth and community shows the magnitude of the
organization and the power they have to make a difference
From
taking the LADYS on college tours to providing them with transportations
and meals on our outings, the grant will definitely come in handy
,"
said Maria Caldwell-Richart, Vice President of the Theta Epsilon Graduate/Professional
Chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon.
