HISTORY

The Omicron Chapter was established in the spring of 1999 at New York University by Arleni A. Molina and Lady Melodie Maldonado. These two women shared a vision to bring leadership, dedication and strength to NYU and to other communities within New York City in the form of a passionate and goal-oriented organization. Since that fateful spring, the Omicron Chapter has expanded to include City College of New York, Baruch College and Lehman College. The chapter is devoted to its philanthropy, Lupus.

The Hermanas of the Omicron Chapter strive to create and promote unity amongst all women who uphold the goals and ideals of our sisterhood. We envision ourselves as leaders in our communities who are dedicated to each other, our goals and our ideals Hasta La Muerte.
