New York, NY - In honor of 25 years of commitment to our goals and ideals, Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. will be launching its $25 for 25 YEARS CAMPAIGN beginning June 1, 2012.
The $25 for 25 YEARS CAMPAIGN will serve as Sigma Lambda Upsilon’s national fundraising initiative leading up to our 25th Annual National Convention & Founders’ Day Celebration that will take place Friday, November 30th – Sunday, December 2nd in New York City. In an effort to reach our $15,000 goal, we ask that you join us and serve as a contributor to what is promised to be another 25 years of campus and community initiatives to promote cultural enrichment, community service, academic achievement, leadership, and sisterhood. Specifically, contributions will help fund Sigma Lambda Upsilon’s national initiatives such as the LADYS and PEARLS mentorship programs, literacy awareness and enrichment programming, and RAICES.
Sigma Lambda Upsilon will be encouraging our Hermanas and fellow supporters to donate $25 as a demonstration of support for our past and our future initiatives.
Kickstart the campaign and donate now during the first phase of the campaign, June 1 – June 25th. More details can be found on our website, www.sigmalambdaupsilon.org. Donations can be made through Labor Day.
In advance, the National Leadership Team of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. would like to thank all donors for their support!
