The membership of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. does not condone and will not tolerate the hazing in any manner. Our pledge process is intended to foster and embody sisterhood.

Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. defines hazing as endangering the safety or mental and emotional health of a Dama (pledge) as well as the physical abuse of a Dama.

No chapter, student or alumnus shall conduct nor condone hazing activities or any other activities which are not consistent with academic achievement, fraternal law, ritual or policy or the regulations and policies of the educational institution or applicable state law.

Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. indisputably prohibits any acts of hazing and requires Hermanas to reports such incidents. Any Hermana who engages in such activities will be thoroughly investigated by the National Judicial Board of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc., in accordance with the procedures set forth by the National Judicial Committee.
