HISTORY
In the Fall of 1989, two women embarked on a journey into nuestra Hermandad. Feeling a need for and a desire to bring a Latina inspired Greek-lettered organization to Buffalo, Hermanas Nancy Reyes and Renatha Adams sought out Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. These women pledged and founded the second chapter of the sorority at Buffalo State College. Since then, the chapter has grown to a city chapter and has had Hermanas from both the University at Buffalo as well as Daemen College.
