HISTORY
In the Spring of 2003, four very dedicated women established the Alpha Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc. at Dartmouth College. Hermanas Betty Baez Melo, Kathy Valerin, Vanessa Durand and Angela Vasquez chose the organization for it's strong sense of Hermandad, professionalism, and the many opportunities that it provides for both Hermanas and their perspective communities. Under the guidance of the Theta Mu GPC, our founding Hermanas were taught the essence of Sincerity, Loyalty and Unity.
